The Greek cuisine is rich with all the typical ingredients of the Mediterranean diet: olive oil, vegetables, oregano, onions, basil, tomatoes, etc.

I think that we tried almost every place and we enjoyed all of them, from the appetizers to the desserts, from every way of cooking fish and meat, to the typical beverages and tropical cocktails.

Our favorite dish, though, is the gyro or gyros, and of course is the most common one.

It is like a kebab, but accompanied by pita or round and crushed bread, and you can find it everywhere at anytime.

For the healthiest ones, there’s always a delicious Greek salad waiting for them, prepared with a generous dose of :

-onions,

-olives,

-tomatoes,

-cucumber

3-SUNSET IN LITTLE VENICE

In this neighborhood there are plenty of houses that are situated precariously on the edge of the Aegean Sea, like in Venice (Italy), this why we have put it into the things to do in Mykonos

That’s why they called this place like this.

Little Venice is fully geared up to cater the whims and needs of every international travelers.

Our best hobby is to schedule (almost) every meal we are going to have, but here, in Little Venice, there are plenty of entertaining options which made us so confused that couldn’t schedule anything!

One day we went in two different restaurants, one for dinner and the other one for the after-dinner party.

We didn’t want to miss any experiences!

In fact, restaurants, pubs, bars and shops dominate the narrow stress of the tiny city centre.

But let’s not forget why we included Little Venice in the top 3: the sunset!

The sun setting on the backwash will give another light and another atmosphere to this magnificent neighborhood already colorful and bright on its own.

It is largely known for its romantic vibes that painters and artists from all over the world, depicted this neighborhood in many paintings and books.

WHERE TO SLEEP?

The island is full of luxury hotels, resorts and apartments for any price range.

CAVO TAGOO MYKONOS is the most fashionable and famous hotel on the island, which you will surely have seen several times on social networks, especially on Instagram.
