Diyaluma Fall is the second highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and is 200m high! It is divided into different levels where there are some natural pools, perfect for swim and to relax.
Visiting Diyaluma Falls is possible to do in 3 hours but you can also devote an entire day if you want to relax under the sun or take a bath a little bit longer.

HOW TO GET TO DIYALUMA FALLS
There are differents ways to get there, we with our driver have come up to Upper Diyaluma Trek and from there we have made 45 minutes walk to reach the main waterfall. This is the most convenient and fastest way to reach them.
We recommend that you take a driver to the waterfalls because in some places the path is not very visible.
After walking for about 45 minutes you will reach the highest waterfall, 200 m high the second in Sri Lanka.
At this point you can swim in one of the natural pools that have formed on the edge of the waterfall. For those with vertigo is not the best.
After refreshing moment in these natural pools, you can continue your walk for another 15 minutes to get to a second smaller but also magnificent waterfall with its natural pools.
From these natural pools, if you dare, you can also jump.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
If you decide to spend a full day in Diyaluma Falls we recommend you to bring food and drink, next to the second waterfall there is a small kiosk, but it is better to bring something in case it is closed.
To get to the waterfall you have to face a nice walk, so it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing.
Don’t worry about the sun, you can relax in the shade of the trees around the waterfalls.
